Emmaus Bristol

When i first moved to Bristol I lived in a shared flat with friends, it was unfurnished and i spent the first six months sleeping on a blow up bed until I could pay off what i owed my parents for helping me with the deposit and rent and paying off my credit card i had to take out to move here. I lived in Barton Vale and lucky for me (as i dont drive) I discovered this amazing charity right behind our flat called Emmaus. Not only do they sell really affordable furniture a lot of it is pretty retro too! I managed to nab myself a desk, bedside table and chair for under £20 which was amazing when all you have in your room was an inbuilt wardrobe and a bunch of boxes! Now a few years (almost three!) later living with Tom in a different part of town I barely go there but if we are ever in that area we try and pop in. I love that they are also selling brick a brack and clothes now there too. P.S i really wanted the pans but resisted! xoxo
