Wilfryd the shoplifter..almost

You know that thing when you have a child and they keep learning and developing so fast you cant keep up? Like when you put them down on their back at three months and next time you look down they've rolled over on their front and are lifting themselves up and you think 'what? you couldn't do that yesterday!' Or a toy they previously had no interest in is now their favourite thing as they have developed the dexterity to hold is and shove it in their mouths and its the perfect shape for chewing?
Well Wilfryd's new trick is shoplifting..almost
When on an extremely exciting trip out to Mothercare I stopped the pushchair on an aisle for a minute or so before aiming to head off. I guess maybe I wasn't paying too much attention to poor Wilf as the next time I looked down at him we were nearly out the store and he had this toy in his hand! I have no idea how he managed to stretch across and reach it but he must have somehow, and he must have really wanted it too, all that shiny colourful plastic. It turns out it is now his favourite toy (don't worry I went and paid for it at the till!).
I dont know whether to be impressed with how clever he is or scared I am raising a criminal!
Happy Friday and have a lovely weekend xoxo

Bug stole a ping pong ball (I didn't even know he knew how to use his trouser pockets!) and a pair of furry slippers from HM. They touch everything!!!!

Hehe great story! I work in Oasis and a man came back recently with a £40 top still with the security tag on, that his little daughter had grabbed in her push chair and just hung onto- the top was silky material and she really loved the feel of it! x
