Tigerlilly Quinn: Upcyling / Family photographs

Upcyling / Family photographs

I broke my tripod yesterday, it was my own fault, i pulled the plastic too hard to turn the other way. I guess that's what you get for a £7 tripod of EBay though.
Its come at a bit of an unfortunate time as we are off on holiday soon and would have been useful for some family pictures. I ended up getting a bit more annoyed about than I should really.

Tom being the brains of the operation bought this lamp from IKEA that afternoon and attached it to the rest of the broken tripod so now we have a new reading light for our reading chair. We were also calling it the interrogation chair as the light was so bright.
We picked up this felt Indian headband from the kids section, for 99p I had to have it (in fact I kinda wanted it for myself more than anything). And so ensued some ridiculous pictures, when I looked back though the pictures this evening I found myself getting annoyed again, this time that the quality wasn't so good, I was even going to delete them. Then a picture of Wilf and I made me smile and I realised that sometimes you can have a blurry picture or one where someone is making a funny face and it makes the picture because it captures that moment perfectly.

I love our silly little family xoxo

The beauty of old manual photos were that you couldn't delete them... just because a pic is blurred or off centre doesn't mean it won't elicit a smile or a rush of emotion :)
