What Wilf Wore 11

What Wilf Wore:
(this is the outfit that made him look a Mario brother all day long)
Shirt : Little Linens (I was lucky enough to have won this for Wilf in a Dashing Magazine competition)
Dungarees: Debenhams
Leggins : This Ebay shop
Shoes: Clarks

The Clarks shoes were bought for the tidy sum of £2.99 from a charity shop instead of the £20 odd you would pay in actual Clarks. Sure we didn't get the balloon or the photo but we were able to measure his feet against some size 3, 3.5 and 4's and at the moment he is a 3.5. We also picked up three more pairs (as they were there!) in the sizes up and when recounting this story to a friend she went and gave me her son's old size 3.5's too so now Wilf has 6 pairs of shoes! His collection is almost getting as big as mine..almost ;)

I'm sure that shoe story was super exciting for you all..seriously this is the kind of thing I cant wait to tell Tom when he comes home from work. It's all glamour I tell you.

Good find on the shoes!

Have you had his feet measured yet? You can get that done in Clarks for free and don't need to buy the shoes. It's worth doing because they tell you the width you need too, as that's just as important as the size. We picked up a pair of shoes from a nearly new sale in the next size up, and in the same width, as I thought that would stay the same, but when I got Theo's feet measured again he'd gone up a width size as well as a length, so it's worth constantly checking how much they've grown, even if you don't buy brand new shoes. In the first year or so it's important that you get well fitting shoes, and the right sole on them, for pre-walkers etc as it can effect the growth of the feet!

I'm sure you know all of this, and I probably worry too much about it, but its always best to check! But good job, it's a great way to save money! (We've only ever bought Clarks shoes in the sale or second hand!)

X
