I meant the first picture of this project to be taken in beautiful lighting with a proper camera and maybe edited to look at fancy as could be..turns out as life would have it his first portrait of the year is taken with my Iphone, but at least it is true to life.
I think I mentioned before that one of my goals this year is to learn to use my DSLR manually so this is a great platform to try. Hopefully by next week I will have some new tricks to show you!

1/52 - Wilf has worked out how to complete this jigsaw correctly..Tom and I are constantly amazed at his development

Gorgeous photo! I love using my camera manually! However, it gets hard especially when you have to quickly capture a moment and half the time is spent adjusting the settings!

@kate yes! I've been really looking forward to starting it! Although I had hoped to have created a different picture to this, its quite apt to our life a the moment, playing jigsaw's whilst it rains! x
@yelle yes I can imagine, I guess its better for subjects that stay still and maybe not fast moving little boys!! xx

I love this idea, and your first picture is gorgeous, I love the look of concentration on Wilf's face. I can't wait to start photographing my little monkeys, although at the moment whenever I try and photograph my baby girl she wiggles so much I just get a blur where her hands and feet should be!

dslr photos take alot longer to process than phone! gives me a bigger workload
