When I asked Tom how I looked he said 'like a grown up child'. I said 'Thanks! That's just the look I was going for'.
I spent last weekend dying my hair, although I liked the red, my roots were showing through far too much and two tone brown and red just didn't work for me. Instead I got a box dye closest to my natural shade and then, quite out of my comfort zone I tried an ombre kit. I was overly cautious with it, not wanted to be too dramatic in the tone difference and also a little terrified of bleaching my hair (eep!). I think it worked well, its not too different to my natural hair colour but I like how it doesn't look so much of a block colour as so often happens when you home dye. I'm still not 100% sure of the length, I'm very predictable in that I grow grow grow it..then chop it all off, I wish I just knew what length was the best and kept it that way.
I've wanted a pair of Hunter wellies for a really long time so were thrilled when they asked if I would like a pair. They really are lovely and despite the sun last week we are now experiencing snow (snow!) so its perfect timing really. I did wonder about being more adventurous and picking one of their brighter colours (of which there are many) but I thought black was a classic that would go with most things so I would get more wear out of them and maybe, maybe, a festival visit this year.
Wilf also has some cute little Hunters arriving, I can't wait to share those pictures with you, toddlers in wellingtons are simply the cutest. Plus then we can sing ''Wilfryd's wish wellingtons!".
The Fever dress I am wearing if from their 2008 collection but is one of my most worn dresses (although not lately due to needing breastfeeding friendly dresses). It's honestly the comfiest thing I own, but can be made more tailored with the addition of a vintage style belt.
And that my friends is what I wore on Saturday xo
