Bank Holiday at its best! Sticky with suncream and full from picnic's in the park. Tom and his sister even put up a shed (Wilf and steered well clear) and Wilf's granny came over to pot some flowers for our garden. Turf is being ordered and soon we will have a garden to play in of our own.
Sometimes I call our house a labour of love, but sometimes I wish we had bought one that didn't need so much work.. Still, its all almost done and with the new design, a shed and grass it is going to look fantastic and be so lovely for one very active little toddler.
Anyone else find hanging out washing in the spring air so satisfying? It's one of my favourite things!
My afternoon's at the shop are going great and I have made two such lovely friends, its worth it just for that if nothing else. Seriously though I have taken so many ideas from this process and have filled a fair few pages in my note book on some new directions I want to be taking. I'm thinking geometric animal badges, cat themed jewellery and bright prints!
Wilf is talking so much now, his vocabulary is broadening every day. I was thinking of maybe doing a little video of us both, I'm a little apprehensive though as I tend to sound a little like a six year old..evidence here from my last video from a few years back..
