I'm actually pretty amazed that I've managed to stay organised to keep up with this project since I started it a couple of months ago now. I often have ideas or projects I get excited about but don't stick too and when it comes to my blog I've never really kept a schedule up until now.
Perhaps its the fact that so many of you lovely readers are joining in and have showed support from the start that I've had the enthusiasm to keep to my fortnightly series. I suppose two weeks is a great deal of time to organise such things but doesn't it speed by so fast? That's one thing this exercise has taught me.
Last week Fiona who has been joining in with my series had a rather amazing comment on her blog post. I urge you to head over and see for yourself.
This week we have a guest book and a new one for me! We were kindly sent 'The Apple' by Dick Bruna. Many of you may recognise him by his wonderful books Miffy, although 'The Apple' was his first ever picture book and has been republished to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
I'm a big fan of the Miffy books and adore Dick's graphic style, the simple colours are just perfect. I love that he insisted on a small square format for all his books instead of rectangular to suit little children's hands.
Are you a fan of Miffy? Were you aware of Dick Bruna's earlier work?
Can't wait to see what you are reading!
