Necklace - a birthday gift from a lovely friend
Tights - Primark
Boots - Sarenza
This is what I wore on my birthday on Saturday. It was a lovely simple day, Tom did all the previous night get-ups although Wilf had decided to be good so there were only 3 in total (result!). I got breakfast in bed and some lovely cards and gifts. Tom bought me a milk frother (like this one) so I don't need to go getting my daily take out latte. I do still like a coffee out when meeting with friends but it will be great to be able to make my own from home on work days!
After Wilf's nap (in which I was offered plenty more coffees from Tom who is trying perfect his frothing. Currently he is making cappuccinos rather than lattes. You just can't get the staff these days ;)) we set off for a late lunch. We jumped on a bus to area just next to ours we had never visited before, it's one of these quite out of town places that we maybe wouldn't have needed to visit previously. I'm glad we did though as it has brilliant charity shops! I got a vintage Fisher Price till for Wilf for £1.99 which I'm really pleased about.
We got off the bus a few stops earlier on the way back and walked through our local park as the sun was setting. Wilf decided to be hilariously funny and Tom and I kept laughing throughout our walk home at the things he was saying and doing. After dinner was made and eaten and Wilf was tucked up in bed I found myself looking through old videos of him as a baby we couldn't quite believe that chubby little seven month old was the same child! We say it to each other often but we are so lucky to be his parents.
I'm very much looking forward to 28 and what it will bring!
