4/52 Living Arrows

'you are the bows from your children as living arrows are sent forth'

On a babyccino date with my little buddy. I told Tom later how embarrassed I was that Wilf is now so accustomed to cafe's that he walked right to the counter and said 'babyccino! mine have a babyccino!'. How middle class have we become??
Top that off with an IKEA lunch with our pals straight after too and well, hello to parenthood! I kind of love our simple days like this, despite how predictable we have become ;)

Perfection I think - simple, beautiful and fun for everyone - don't ever be sorry about it, it's a lovely way to spend your day with your little man :)

Such a sweet photo, I love how you're hands aren't yet touching. Lovely.

You gave me my morning laugh! My husband and I are trying our hardest to stay away from Starbucks and to frequent the local coffee shop only on Saturdays as a special treat. However, we met my in-laws for a Starbucks brunch the other week and as my little babe is sitting in her high chair seat eating her pumpkin bread and saying "Hi!" to everyone, my husband's dad said, "Oh, she looks quite comfortable here, is this a hang-out?" How embarrassing - NO, we are not there that frequently! (Even though by the age of 8 months she was reaching for the Starbucks cup for a teensy sip of chai.)

I am so glad I am not the only one. Joni knows the people in our local coffee shop by name ... she wanted to invite one to her birthday party!! haha!

Ha ha, don't worry, I went for an outing with my 5 year old niece at the weekend, who confidently told me on the way "Auntie Sarah we are going to the science museum and then we're going to Bordeaux Quay for lunch and I'm going to have moule frites!" I, in my ignorance, thought she said 'warm feet' and my brother and sister-in-law had to correct me. Oh dear! Bordeaux Quay really do have a kids portion of moule frites on their children's menu... now THAT'S middle class!!

(Lovely picture by the way!)
