Free Valentines printables

It's valentines soon don't you know? Tom and I usually end up making each other a little something, or if we don't make gifts we always do homemade cards. Last year I got a series of boxes each smaller than the other until it led me to a tiny box which contained a kinder surprise, unfortunately as usual I got a blimmin jigsaw in the kinder egg, I ALWAYS gets jigsaw's, what's with that?

Anyway, this year I thought it might be fun to make a card with a favourite movie quote and I made a couple of extras for you guys too. I'm not ashamed to say the Moulin Rouge is still one of my favourite films (I must have watched it at least 40 times by now). The second quote is from Elf, which is basically a classic and a firm favourite with Tom and I. I always think of Elf every time I see a coffee shop that claims to have the best coffee, one of these days I'm going to run in shouting 'You did it! Congratulations! World's best cup of coffee! Great job, everybody! It's great to be here!'

Feel free to use these images if you fancy it or send them in an email to a friend!

Do you have anything planned for Valentines? Do you celebrate it or think it's a silly idea?

p.s long time readers of my blog will be bored of hearing about it but two years ago now I designed Paperchase's entire Valentines range! you can seed that here

aw, how lovely thank you for sharing them! Every year we have a teaparty. We get a load of kids party food (we don't have kids so it's a treat!) and sit at the coffee table eating monster much with cheese in the paws and Party Ring biscuits dunked into Milky Bar desserts. It never gets tired ;) But we don't really do presents. It seems a bit much after christmas and my birthday which is the week before Valentines. But I always make a homemade card too. It's better generally, but also because it's so hard to get the right card for a man.

love these :) Elf is my favourite! I've not actually watched all of Moulin Rouge... G and I tried to watch it years ago before we had kids, fell asleep half way through three times..... maybe I should try again

I love Moulin Rouge. I want to dance in the clouds above Paris with Ewan McGregor! My other half always cooks a lovely meal on Valentines and I do the dessert :-)

Ahhh, Moulin Rouge was the first film I watched again from the begin the moment it had finished! I was doing a set design module at university at the time and was so inspired by everything to do with it. I remember quite a few drunken nights singing the Elephant love medley at the top of my lungs along Ealing high street!!

Our wedding song was from Moulin Rouge ♥ We love Valentine's Day, it might be mushy for some, but we're old romantics!!

I am very fond of cheesy cards and sayings :) In fact it's the only reason I adore Pinterest. It's an end;ess fountain :) I loved your printables :)

Ah these are so cute. Mr C is the most unromantic person ever, although actually I never really do anything romantic either, maybe I should break the mould and try something different! I love Elf too, but the same as Polly with Moulin Rouge, I started it once but never made it to the end x

I love Elf too! We don't really bother with Valentine's Day, but my brother is getting married this year, in a movie themed wedding, so I might have to borrow the top one for that!

We sort of celebrate it... small gifts mostly... but we try to treat each other every day like it is a valentines day everyday!

I love these and they are exactly what Valentine's means to us - romance. It is a day of love not commercialism. Thank you for sharing.
