Me and You

We were off to a wedding and Tom's mum kindly offered to snap a picture of us before we headed out.  A rare night out together at a really interesting location too (the SS Great Britain). We even managed a little dance (like one song) I'm sure we have both forgotten how to dance as actual normal adults and not weird parent dancing..anyone else get that?

Incase you were wondering my dress is the *ASOS Wiggle Dress in Floral Jacquard. I saw my friend Ella wearing it and begged her to tell me where she got it, it really does make you wiggle! (also has pockets too which is a must right?).

If you fancy joining in this love fest then just link up below! Don't forget to check out Lucy, Becky and Kirsty's blog too :)

It is a LOVELY dress! and a lovely picture. It's so nice to go out together isn't it? Thank goodness for mums who are so willing to babysit!
Tom has a whole repertoire of 'Dad Dancing' that he's saving for Holly's wedding - embarrassment will ensue!

looking very smart! And yes dresses with pockets are always a deal breaker for me with dresses and skirts! As for the dancing, I was totally dreading our first dance at our wedding, I don't think I'm a confident dancer at the best of times but having a whole room of people watch you?! No way! Luckily I was sufficiently tipsy by that point, and it was to a favourite song so wasn't too bad (and I made everyone join us about 30 seconds in!)

You both look amazing and I love that dress - so pretty. I totally know what you mean about the weird parent dancing - don't think I have really danced with anyone older than a toddler in a very longtime :)

Ooh, wondered if it was a wedding when I saw this on Facebook! Such a classy dress. You have such a clear sense of what suits you.

You guys both certainly look very dapper. Love the dress! And I was so worried that something happened when you became a parent which made you automatically dance like a parent (I've danced since I was three so I didn't want to suddenly undo all I'd learned!!!) But it would seem I can switch the mum dancing on and off; good dancing when I need to, embarrassing mum dancing the rest of the time. x
