Aussie haircare

If you've followed my blog for a while you may have seen my hair change a fair bit over this time. My hair grows quickly which for the most part is a blessing when it comes to taking risks like chopping it all off but pretty annoying when you have to cut a new fridge every four weeks.

Motherhood has taken it's toll on my hair also. Pregnancy hair was the best, I felt like I had twice the amount and it was shinny and healthy and bouncy. Postpartum hair loss is totally a thing though and I feel like my hair is so thin nowadays. Not quite the excuse to have another child so what to do?

This Friday (21st March) between 12.30 – 1.30pm @Aussie_Hair_UK will be hosting a Twitter party using hashtag #AussiePerfectMatch with Haircare Ambassador Liz Taw to answer all your (and my!) hair care questions. I'm not sure if it's just me but I tend to swap and change the shampoo I choose depending on what I think my hair might be at the time ('coloured' or 'damaged') to what I want my shampoo to do for me ('volume'!). Actually what I probably need to do is actually find out what my hair needs and what type it really is, which is lucky really as Liz will be on hand to find your perfect hair match too.

Myself and two other lovely bloggers will be joining in the chat and there are five prizes to be won throughout the hour for participants. As well as tips for haircare we will be chatting ideas for summer hair, party hair, getting your hair in good condition and the new range of 3 minute miracle mousse variants from Aussie. All you need to do is join in and ask a question , simple as that!

You can see the T&C's here

Hope to see you there!

Sounds great! I've put a reminder in my phone now as that sounds like it will be a very interesting chat. (I need all the help I can get when it comes to hair care).

My hair has gone really wiry since becoming a mum and so grey too around the hairline - so not fair! I'll try and join in with this, it's on my birthday too so I might be lucky :)

I love Aussie haircare products. I always stock up when they're on a 3 for 2 offer. Like you I lost lots of hair after giving birth, so much so I had bald patches around my hairline. Thankfully my hair is so thick I could disguise it!

Ooh, I'll join in with the chat if I'm around. I love Aussie products...the distinctive smell! Mmm! But I only buy when they're on offer so haven't got any at the moment. When we went to the pool last someone was using Aussie Shampoo, the kids wondered why I kept "sniffing" lol x

Never tried Aussie products before, but seen them in the shops. As I've gotten older my hair has got thinner -_- it's grown super long too - I really should get to the hairdressers!!

Ooo I used Aussie following both my pregnancies and then wandered back off to my usual brand. Time to re-discover them me thinks!

Aussie is my favourite, in fact I just washed my hair with it. My hair grows quickly too and it is a nightmare with a fringe, I find it so hard to go in and get it trimmed so end up pinning it back which I hate. If only it could last a few months, that would be perfect! x

I'll have to remind myself to check it out... I have been trying everything on my hair. I have found that keratin based products as well as argan oil seems to be what has been working best for me.

I'll try to remember the Twitter chat. My hair got really rubbish postpartum last time, which is why I've kept cutting it and cutting it! And, sorry to disappoint, but it got worse in my second pregnancy! So did my skin! I've no idea why. So I'm hoping that postpartum means that it'll all get really nice now? But it probably won't!

My hair is currently falling out in clumps, mostly thanks to a baby who thinks it grew fun to yank it. I will look out for this twitter party

This looks great - although I have so many questions I would probably monopolise the time!! I'm so bad about switching shampoos on a whim, I definitely need to give more thought to it as my hair is looking such a mess at the moment! It definitely needs some love!

My pregnancy hair was so wonderful. Now I am 5 weeks postpartum and I'm waiting for the day when it starts falling out! I had a pixie cut through most of my pregnancy then decided to grow it out. So, now I'm in this awkward in-between thing. At least I'm on leave currently and don't leave my house nearly as often!

I'm constantly changing my hair care products and haven't found the perfect one yet! My hair seems so changeable even between one day to the next! I do love Aussie products though, they cater for curly hair really well!
