A Happiness list

1, The joy my son found in peeking though the slats of the pier and watching the sea below
2, How he was even more thrilled to share the experience with me
3, Watching sci-fi box sets with my boyfriend in bed
4, That it's less than a month until my little family go on their first ever holiday out of the UK (Paris!)
5, Building friendships with good people
6, Having short hair (I can't even remember what long hair feels like now, it's so much easier!)
7, Hot chocolate park dates with my best boy
8, Reading with Wilf and speaking the words at the same time as we know them so well
9, How excited a little boy can get getting new wellies (his trusty red ones have been worn to pieces and were getting too small). He pulled them out the box & onto his feet, put on his backpack and asked to go out splashing in puddles.
10, My new coffee machine (I feel like I've made it now I own one! mmm coffee!)

What is making you happy lately?

I use *RadLab to edit all my photographs

Nice list. I can imagine the fun he's having watching the water through the gaps. Smile! (Although the coffee machine on the list would have done it for me. I love my coffee machine)

Lovely list, so excited for you going to Paris, I love that city but haven't been since 2008. Hope you have an amazing time. Watching my boy's delight at playing in rock pools at the beach is making me very happy at the moment, having a lot of 'yeah, being a mum is great' soppy moments with that!

Enjoy Paris - If you stay out of the bad areas it's nice, but expensive.
We love going on a woodland walk and finding all the creepy crawlies!!!

What a lovely list- I love his little braces!! My family and our gorgeous animals make me happy. Just spent an hour in the sun cleaning the rabbits out- I love that.

What a super idea. A picture tells a thousand words, but I also love to list the positives in my life, those things I have to be grateful for, and I think it does make for an overwhelming feeling of positivity...just perfect to share with good friends :-)

Oh hot chocolate and park dates are THE BEST even with my lads. Perhaps I will supporise them one day next week after school with a flask.

Short hair is just the best to manage - you save sooo much time!

Is that Clevedon?! We were there yesterday, but didn't make it onto the pier! It's such a lovely place to visit. I remember being terrified of the gaps in the pier when I was little, they still make me feel a bit uneasy now!

I had an amazing hot chocolate at the farmers market this morning. It all went downhill from there so I am holding on to that moment!

Beautiful photos. I remember being a kid and spending the summer break in Brighton with my Nana. Wow, I am having flashbacks, looking at the waves crashing under the old pier. I love your list of happiness, life is too short to be miserable. I desperately need a haircut, long hair is hard work! x

Love the pics, a great reminder to take F back there soon. I'm loving an impromptu date night with the husband this weekend when F volunteered to stay at nanny's. Bless that boy :) x
