Tigerlilly Quinn: me and you

me and you

I definitely did not take this picture this morning before Tom headed out to work.. ;)

I'm not sure how the 20th has come round again and I realise I have no pictures of just Tom and I. Which of course is the whole point to this series. Without this prompt I'm sure we would have 5 months of no pictures of just Tom and I, and now I have five.

So even though this picture is not the best, and our fat cat photobombed it, and our toddler was shouting from his high-chair and flinging cereal...maybe I'll look at this picture in times to come and remember all the things going on in the background and smile because that's my family and thats life and I'm sharing it all with this guy, which is pretty great.

Because I don't say it enough, but he's pretty great too.

Have you taken any pictures of your love this month? Link up, I'd love to see (and I'm sure they are much better than mine!). Don't forget to check out Lucy, Kirsty and Becky's pics too.

Such a nice idea for a linky but sadly my OH will not appear on my blog. Will take some anyway or get someone else to just for us. Thanks for the inspiration Fritha

Hahaha. Yay for last minute photos. We took ours very late last night. I actually think the story behind this one is so cute and so real. That's life, and that's what it's like when you're a parent and the person we choose to share that with is our partner in crime. I feel the same about this little project, I wouldn't have any of my five photos without the kick this project gives me, and I'm so glad for that. X

I LOVE a cat photobomb! I think the behind the scenes is just as important as what gets captured.

My photo was also last minute, taken last night! I love the scene your writing created. A beautiful photo that will no doubt have those memories come flooding back when you reflect back in the future.

We haven't taken a picture of the two of us in forever. I don't think we have a picture of us and the girls either... :-S This is motivation to do it. I think this picture is great because there are so many little details of your life in it!

I think your blog is brainwashing me into loving turquoise! I'm also tempted to get fake flowers and see if Laurence's notices (he's all about real but I don't think he'd be able to tell).

You know what, sometimes the ordinariness of moments is the best way to capture your actual life. A bit like Gogglebox, I guess.

Ah that's a lovely photo, for the very reason you said above! It gives a snapshot into family life, hectic but fantastic!

We have hardly any pictures of us as a couple, it's normally me wielding the camera so I am not in many of them! Must take more as I know I love seeing pics of my parents from years back and I am sure my kids will feel the same in years to come!

Such a great idea, I haven't got many photo's of me let alone me and hubby!

What a lovely photo, better than any of ours, as the only time the bloke and i are in a photo together is random selfies when we are drunk!

When I do the siblings project I'm totally unable to sort out photos before the very last minute! We literally have no photos of me and Matt, he hates the camera. We are going out on Friday night for his birthday so I am going to make him get in a photo with me! x

I love the idea of a street party! Although maybe not on my street ;) - And lol at Adele's comment, I think your blog has brainwashed me into liking it too, my nails are currently painted turquoise which is pretty unusual for me! xx

haha looks like me and the hubby its either the bairn or the dogs trying to wangle in between us lol , i a always the one holding the camera so its rare to get pics of me with any of them or my hubby have to force him to smile lol x

I love this picture and this month we're the same! But I love the imperfect moments we capture in life, they are most definitely the best!

I love the way your cat photobombed the pic. I know what you mean re having no pics as a couple. I think ours date back years.

I keep forgetting about this prompt - I really must join in as I think it's great as I too would go for 5 months with nothing of both of us - I love this pick by the way

Ha ha - oh our poor long suffering blog boyfriends/husbands. Tom's face says it all! I really want to join in but a quick scroll through the photos confirms I have no recent one of the two us. Will definitely sort this out and join soon :) LOVE this photo xx

Reading this has just prompted me so maybe I should go and get the camera to do just that.
