Father's Day

We had a really chilled Father's Day for Tom this year (his third already!). After spending the past few weeks away we wanted to spend sometime at home and just ground ourselves a little.

When we bought our home we had a lot of work to do to the interior and had to leave working on our garden for a few years. Each time summer rolled round we avoided spending too much time in it as truthfully it was a mess and escaping to the park round the corner was always a bit easier. Thankfully with the help of a friend we were able to transform it into a easy to manage outdoor space just in time for Wilf to start to run around and play in it.

Last weekend was the first truly sunny weekend of the year we were able spend in the garden and Tom and Wilf had a spot of 'Father and Son' gardening. I got to paint my nails in the deckchair and Wilf asked for a bit of 'Mother and Son' mani-pedi too. So cute he even showed his friends in nursery how pretty they were ;)

Pretty much a perfect and simple weekend. I feel like maybe I should write something about Tom here too of course but really I hope that this blog is a record to what a wonderful father he is and how much we love him.

(and of course my own daddy who is very much loved too)

Hope you all had a wonderful Fathers Day too.

Wilf's shorts are just the cutest. They remind me of when I was little. So adorable!

These simple weekends are definitely the best, especially if you have been busy rushing about. I love that he showed his friends at nursery his 'pedi'- so sweet and innocent. And those shorts and little red welly boots are something else. Wilf is one of the cutest little boys I have ever 'seen'- he is adorable. x

Oh what a lovely day - I always think some of the best days are those just chilled and relaxed spent at home with the people you love. The pic of Tom and Wilf with watering cans is too cute :)

So cute that he wanted to paint his nails just like Mummy. Talitha tried to get me to paint Ophelia's nails last week!
