Homeware Haul

So here's the thing. One day when I was 'supposed' to be sitting down to plough through admin and boring stuff like that I thought 'why not make a little vlog instead?'

And maybe I was feeling a little bit chipper that day and maybe I had had a little too much coffee but this was the result (and no Tom I was not drunk I just get kind of excited over homeware OK?).

Enjoy!

btw if you are interested:
Top (actually a dress) from here and skirt from here

I love that pyrex dish. Can you believe I've never actually been to an Ikea?! I'd really love to go and you've just inspired me to find out where our closet one is and get the husband to take me at the weekend!

I love a trip to Ikea, my husband hates it as I always spend his money!

Ah I love your videos, you are so sweet. Love Ikea, love the pyrex dish and I am not a fan of having real flowers in the house either, not because I don't like flowers but because they die and rot and stink then you have to find the time to clean out the vase. Nightmare! xx

A good tip to try and take as many unnecessary items out of the room you are entertaining in.

That's fab only 5 mins away, our closest Ikea is a good 40 minutes drive away. I get excited about anything that goes in the kitchen x

Ikea is a long drive for us and I haven't done it in a while but I do love going. It feels like a treasure trove and there are always things that you HAVE to go home with - that you didn't even know you needed when you walked into the store :-)

I miss IKEA, haven't been for ages and for us it's now like a 2 hour drive away. It really was one of the best day trips for kids! We used to go for breakfast and then wander round the shop trying out all the furniture. And yes I am interested love your top!

This is fab, and IKEA is just brilliant. When we go there we always come back with lovely things we hadn't realised we needed until we saw them!

By adding small touches like colourful straws and napkins it can really
tie in a theme especially when the rest of the items are mix-match and
colourful also.

I adore Ikea - they are building a new one 8 miles from us *excited face*

i feel like i'd spend more time in ikea if it was closer to me. i mean, it's not far, but it's a bit of a faff to get there. plus i never have money so that doesn't help, haha. love the yellow bowls and the bit at the very end!

I like Ikea if I'm on my own and have time to look around properly - usually with the kids running amok and the husband grumbling it's not such a fun experience! Love the white bowls with the colour inside!

I can't believe Ikea is basically your local coffee shop - it takes us nearly an hour to get to our nearest by car! Just did a run recently too and left with a very full trolley! Love your picks x

I need a trip to Ikea. Always good to procrastinate and make a vlog!

Globalmouse said...

I love your video and your find...I think I might have to make a trip to IKEA now to try and get some of those little bottles - so sweet! And flowers always die really quickly for me too so I like those fake ones, especially as they do look like wild flowers. I love the end of your video too - so funny!

Hiya!! Love love love the video... I am yet to venture into the world of vlogging, way too scary but you make it look very easy!! Really need to go to Ikea, haven't been for a while and I used to go all the time when my twins were toddlers... it's fun! The flowers are great, I have a few vases of fake flowers knocking about the place from Ikea x
