The other day myself and the very lovely Lori headed to London to check out Argos's Christmas in July event. You may remember I actually tried to make this event last year which ended in a total disaster and not a day I ever want to repeat!
Thankfully this day was quite different, no sickly child, in-fact no children at all, a child-free day for both of us which in itself was a treat!

I had been invited by Argos to interview the lovely Emma Bunton about her children's range for the store. I was more than a little excited and truthfully a tad nervous. It's a funny thing meeting someone that was so much part of your life at one point. Regardless of if you were a fan (and why wouldn't you be!) the Spice Girls made a huge impact on the world of pop music and were inspirational to me in my growing up.
Now I have that out my system more about the clothes! Emma's range of girls clothes for the store really are beautiful, girly and fun and with lots of sparkle. My favourite items (and one's I would quite like in my size) are these silver brogues, this grey sequinned cardigan and this dress which would be amazing for little christmas parties wouldn't it?
Intrigued to hear about her inspirations and design process I asked Emma a bit more about the line which you can watch below. She is even more lovely (and stunning) then I thought she would be and her line really is the cutest!
I love that in all her work her family all join in and play a part with the ideas and designs and that she takes inspiration from the many children's parties she attends! It felt really natural to chat to Emma as she really is very down to earth and after a quick pic together I thanked her for my time and headed off to take a peek at the rest of the Christmas ranges.
After a lovely morning Lori and I decided to make a day of our child free time in the big smoke by heading to Primrose Hill and drank wine in the sun outside a delicious little greek place. It was fun to pretend we were the sort of people that could do this everyday, it was my first time in the area and oh my gosh isn't it pretty?
A rather amazing day in the big city!
What do you think of Emma's new range? Favourite pieces?
