I was wondering the other day about where my love for homes and interiors came from. Sometimes I think that the way I put together my house or the interior looks that I can't resist pinning really aren't anything out of the ordinary. Then my friends ask for advice on a colour scheme or mention they love this or that about my furnishings and I remember that it is a passion, just as doing anything creative is a passion for me.
I think it must have stemmed from moving home so much if I'm honest. Sometimes my family would move as often as every 6 months when I was growing up and I remember being so excited to see what out new home would look like, how I would decorate my room and what the bathroom was like. I think bathroom's hold a special place in my heart as coming from a home of 5 children it's one of the only places you can really be alone!

I love these lifestyle shots from Crosswater. I'm constantly learning about interior design since writing this blog and it's funny how I'm come to appreciate the art in bathroom interiors like this. I'm not sure if it's the smooth lines or the feeling of calm that these shots evoke but they remind me of how important a relaxing bathroom space is. I was really surprised by how cost effectively you can achieve this look.
The second shot down is a bathroom set that is now in the sale (excluding bath) for £1,638. I love the colour of the tiling in the set. From someone who has a bathroom in desperate need of of a makeover it's the first thing that caught my eye and it's given me some ideas on how to pair colour with chrome like the shower featured. Doing up our bathroom is something that is certainly on the list for after the wedding but I assumed that we'd be starting at a price much higher so it's really reassuring to see these kind of figures.
