A birthday treat at the Rosewood

A couple of weeks ago I turned the grand old age of 29. This will be the last year of my twenties and I'm finding myself very at peace with that. My late twenties have been the best of my life, becoming a mum a fews days after I turned 26, setting up a business, travelling, getting married. A lot has happened in the past three years! I feel like I'm finally in exactly the right place in my life and I can't wait to see what 29 brings me!

We decided to celebrate my birthday weekend in London and checked into this rather swanky apartment in the Rosewood Hotel.

Checking into our very own apartment suite felt like such a treat and my only regret is we didn't check in sooner. As it was we had a reservation for dinner at another place sounded good (it was veggie italian) but was actually a disappointment. We were kicking ourself for not eating in the Rosewood and wasting time anywhere else (lesson learnt!).

We got back to our pad around 9pm and I took the opportunity to run myself the deepest most bubbly bath and sink down with a magazine and large glass of wine from the complimentary mini bar, bliss!

After pretty much never ever wanting to leave my heavenly bath I changed into the softest comfiest robes and finished off the bottle of wine with Tom in our living room, cursing we had ever left our luxurious apartment!

We woke after a delicious and very rare lie in and tumbled out of bed and into the Holborn Dining room downstairs where I wolfed down pancakes and we woke ourselves up with a cup of tea.

The dining room is open to public not staying at the hotel too and is great for people watching (one of my favourite past times!). I'd love to come back for dinner one day.

Another quick shot of the amazing entrance and we had a little time to stop by the deli for some treats on our way home!

I also made a little video of our room here if you fancy a peek!

We were guests at the Rosewood but all thoughts are my own and I'd definitely recommended it for a treat!
