When it comes to clothes I truly believe that the fit of your clothes is as important to finding items that look, and, feel good to wear. I can't tell you how many times I've bought a dress that has a cute print to find it's cut completely wrong for my body.
Son of a Tailor got in touch with me recently to ask if I'd be interested in introducing their service to my readers and with Valentines coming up I thought it would be a great fit (pun not intended!). I'm pretty sure it's not just Tom that's hard to buy for, men are notoriously hard to shop for in my opinion. When I start asking him what he likes he mainly says things like 'well I do need a new screwdriver' or something equally as dull (my dad was always the same!).
Son of a Tailor appreciate that the cut of a product is as important as the design and as such they have taken their Tailored T-shirts to the world 'in a bid to end bad fitting T-shirts, and make way for handcrafted truly Tailored T-shirts, which the man in your life will love'.
To create the perfect t-shirt you can visit Son of a Tailor, input vital statistics and customise by selecting preferred colour, style and adding embroidered initials for a personalised finish. Or you could simply buy them a gift card to the site so they can purchase one for themselves.
I'm giving away one gift box to one lucky reader (or the man in their life) in time for Valentines day. To enter simply enter any/all of the below and good luck!
all entries will be added to the Son of a Tailor and Tigerlilly Quinn newsletters of which you can opt out of at anytime.

The worst gift I ever gave Mr P was nothing! I forgot to buy him anything and he got me a beautiful bunch of flowers. I was so annoyed with myself!
The worst gift ever must be a pair of crocs. He hates the brand and thinks it's ugly.
I gave my ex-boyfriend a pair of squishy golden balls to dangle from the mirror in his car! He hates them as he said they distracted him!
a prawn sandwich :)
nothing probably, not very good at remembering valentines day :(
I don't think I've ever given a bad present, probably because we stick to little chocolates or something! My friend gave her husband a can of deodorant and he had got her a very expensive necklace, she felt awful!
Socks!
I sourced a gorgeous poster off etsy that I thought he would love... but alas, no, he hates it.. well doesn't mind it too much to have it up in the children's bedroom!
I once got a book on eggs from Greig too (but I do really like them).
I can't really think of a particular present on Valentines Day. We don't really celebrate it and give gifts on that day.
nothing as I don't buy for him, would rather show our love and appreciation throughout the whole year and not just when it is so comercialised
We're terrible. We more often that not don't get each other anything!
A polo shirt, which didn't fit him. And then I did it again at Christmas. Awful.
Chocolate... which he hates and I love. What can I say I was hungry!
some bright socks
Don't think I've ever bought Matt anything! x

I've always been pretty good with my presents......but that's when I bother to get him anything!

Not a gift but two Valentines Days ago I made Martin paint the stairs. He still reminds me now.
A silly teddy she didn't like!!
A card from the clearance section, that's me!
Probably a teddy in the early days, what a waste of money in my opinion!!
My husband works in a certain well known discounter and he picked me up something on his way home from work, a mug I never got to use because the handle broke! the most unusual gift I got for him was his name Tattooed on my bottom
My son in college is so picky, when it comes to clothes. This would be awesome!
Chocolate
Justin Beiber CD! Says it all! :)
a toy crab
Oddly enough, I made my husband a shirt, except that it looked like a child's shirt on him! Too short, and boxy .. straight to the charity shop!
Possibly the year I got him a chocolate sheep! It did taste nice though!
Matchbox cars and lego cars... It was his birthday and we had just started dating. All I really knew about him was that he liked cars and I thought it'd be cute. It wasn't. Haha
We don't buy presents :-(
a chocolate bar
We don't really celebrate valentines day, so I don't think I've ever bought him anything! But one Christmas I bought him a toothbrush...and that was about it!
i sent him a rose once to work!
I tried to make biscuits and forgot about them and they ended us burnt.
we don't buy gifts for each other
I'm not very imaginative so he usually just gets some pants!

Embarrassed by then boyfriend with a red rose at his work
well music always goes down well as a gift in our home but I love this idea!
A Micky Mouse tie, so awful it was good!
We don't buy each other Valentine's gifts - but I do make him toast with a heart and I love you imprinted on it on Valentine's Day for breakfast.
I once gave my husband some fishing line
an unpleasantly coloured jumper
A few books we'd both already read!
A pair of jogging bottoms about 4 sizes to big!! we did laugh, (well I did, he wasn't very happy) I called him MC Hammer for weeks! (again not amused, its the gift that keeps giving!) lol.
A teddy with a heart! (Men are not really into Teddy's lol)
Probably something boring like Heart-shaped Haribo
A T-shirt that was too small
A clock that I bought in the sales and it made a terrible clunking noise!
No gift at all has to be the worst!
a photo frame with a cheesy lovey-dovey poem!
I have my partner a nasty rash! I think she was allergic to the perfume I bought her.
I once gave my wife some stuffed vine leaves
our first valentines day (11) years ago, my partner gave me a pack of ciggies and a bottle of baileys.
I think I can out-do this..I've never ever given my husband anything for valentines day! :(
