What Mama Wore - Blue Monday

Did you know it's supposed to be the most depressing day of the year today? Great news hur?

January is a bit of a funny time, I feel like we are still not quite back into our old rhythm and we are all feeling a bit unsettled. After such a long time off together its been hard to get back into our old routines, Wilf is a bit unsettled at nursery and I'm finding my place again in terms of my work/life balance.

In my opinion probably the best thing to do when you're feeling a bit glum is to wear all your brightest florals and go grab a coffee.

My friend Lori took these pictures of me the other day at our local Lido. I went home straight after and my neighbour trimmed by fringe so now I can see again ;)

What do you do to shake the January blues away?

What I wore:

Dress* /  Boots*
(all other items have sold out but my cardigan was from H&M 6 years ago, coat Zara passed season and scarf Primark (last year). I've tried to compile some similar items at the bottom of the post.

Lucky you having a lido near you like that - it looks amazing. I always wait till I can't see before getting my fringe cut too LOL. Right now it is so long, it is off my face. I would take your advice and wear bright florals but I think I am too large for mine at the moment. I think they're all 12-14 and I am currently 16-18, but they certainly brighten up your January blues. Great photography as ever xxx
