I recently teamed up with Schwartz to create a quick and easy meal for my family using their recipes and their new flavour pots.
In my household the running joke is that if in doubt I will always choose to eat pasta. I am pretty addicted to the stuff if truth be told and it's often a staple in our diet. So when Schwartz asked if I would like to give their creamy herb tagliatelle recipe a go it was right up my street.
(The recipe actually calls for bacon but being a veggie family we just left that bit out, if we were feeling like it we could have replaced it with a bacon substitute but I felt like it was yummy enough without.)
The flavour shot that goes with this meal is this one and it means that you have all the oil and herbs you need for the dish in one handy packet. I think this is great idea for times when you are want to know you have all the ingredients to hand, (for say a dinner party) or perhaps for when you are staying in a self catering place. We've actually stoked up on a bunch of these to take to our holiday in Wales next month.
