Postcards from Paris - part one - Three Cities

This is our view from our hotel room in Paris. I think you'd agree we couldn't really get much closer to the Eiffel tower! We were staying at the Pullman Hotel which has been bliss, I've honestly never slept on a comfier bed, in fact we are thinking of asking where their mattresses come from it was so perfect. I'm making a little video of our trip so you can see our suite on that when it's live. Although as you can tell from this still, Wilf thought the mattress also passed the bouncy-ness test.

We've had a lovely few days here and despite the fact it's the second time we've taken Wilf (last year we went in May here) we've still managed to find things to do that are completely different to our first family trip. Our trip in Paris is probably going to take up more than one post because..well it's Paris of course!

On our first day we arrived around lunch time and made our first stop a stroll outside to walk along the grass below the Eiffel tower. A few streets away is a really family friendly restaurant called Tribeca. We sat outside in the spring sun and shared a large pizza and pasta between us which was really affordable and delicious and the staff were super accommodating and child friendly. Actually we liked it so much we went back there for dinner the next day too!

We decided to take it easy that evening and strolled along the river to visit Tokoyo eats. Tom and I had holiday cocktails and Wilf got a macaron and a hot chocolate, we even spotted a Photoautomat to add to our collection (we found one on our London trip too) so now it's just Amsterdam's photo booth to go ;)

A few people have asked me about my make up whilst I'm here so just to let you know :) In the pictures above I'm wearing the fuchsia lip crayon from Boujois Paris and also the blush in Jaspe. I've had the powder for ages and funny enough the lip crayon was an impulse by at the station. I've just been wearing these two and nothing else during my time here, it only just occurred to me I'm matching my make up with the city!

I'll try and post again in the next couple of days, hope you are enjoying the pics so far. Don't forget you can also follow along on IG here.

Looks a fab trip - and so it should be, as... well it's Paris! A comfy mattress makes all the difference and just a little too big to even consider sneaking into your bag - and pretty obvious too :)

I always struggle a bit with filming versus photos and getting enough of each. I'm off to Malta next week and will be juggling both so hope I don't return under-equipped with either.

What a lovely post - looks as though you're really making the most of the capital. Shame you fell foul of public transport, though. Sometimes it takes hoooours to get round this place!

I love the look of that little museum, I bet its far less packed than the natural history museum! I've also never taken Theo to the Tate, I bet he'd love it!

Loved the chalkboard! We are in the process of putting together an outdoor clubhouse for the kids and are considering using a chalkboard or chalk paint.
