a little catch up

Sorry for the almost week long break! I didn't mean to go silent on you all, it just somehow happened. I wanted to pop in this morning with a little catch up on a few things and promise I'll try and get back to normal soon.

Firstly, why not head over to our pal Burp Boutique who are running a fun comp to win £100 store credit. All you need to do is follow them on IG and post with the hashtag, simple! Find out more here.

Wilf is wearing a hoody from their store which you can find here (he calls it his eagle coat because of the ruffles)

The picture is where me and Wilf spent our bank holiday morning morning, I'm starting to hate the park less and less which is an improvement for me. I think Spring is helping :)

I also wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who nominated me in the Style section in the BIBS. I'm feeling anything but stylish over the past little while so it means a lot to me! If you fancy flinging me a vote here that would be much appreciated (I hate asking for these things!).

What else? Wilf and I have been making fun creations out of our sandwiches and have partnered up with Flora to give you some 'sandwich art' ideas if you fancy a peek over here.

look at this cheeky face! The parrot print above Wilf is by Curio and Curio who kindly sent us a copy.  I love mixing up our living room prints, it gives the room a different feeling every time!

Other than that the last few days have been spent enjoying my time with this little boy. Every day with him is an adventure. When I re-tell my days to my friends they probably seems mundane, the park, a hot chocolate, watching a film, discovering the joy of stickle brick. It's these ordinary activities that are so full of joy when you do them through the eyes of a three year old though, I never knew stickle brick could be the source of so much imagination, just like I'd never throw blossom in the air until my son did and it laughed so hard. Simple pleasures!

Maddie the cat has mainly been doing this

I'll be back sooner than a week next time, promise! x
