So a week or so ago I shared with you the fact you can now shop the Aldi 'Special Buys' online. For those you who aren't familiar they are ranges that Aldi bring out on certain dates with certain themes and it's basically get them whilst you can. I shared their latest picnic rage with you guys here but this time around we are checking out their new kitchen range.
Out of the bits we were sent my favourite was the single induction hob. I've not used induction before so I was keen to see what the fuss was about and I loved that it had certain settings on it depending on what you were cooking, for example stir fry, boiling milk or even deep frying. It has a child lock on it and also turns off when not in use so is a pretty nifty bit of kit especially for £29.99.
We wouldn't necessarily have use for it in our kitchen currently but I'd say if you were a student or moving into a new place without appliances then it's a bargain for something so useful and portable too. Because it was such a sunny day and we had a fresh box of strawberries we decided to whip up some american pancake style pancakes with dollops of nutella and strawberries on top, perfect.
My favourite items from the range though have to be these cute stackable canisters! I think they might have already sold out online but are available in store. There are lots still in stock on line currently though like the pastel kitchen essentials which I also have my eye on.
They are also selling some brilliantly discounted Russell Hobbs items such as toasters, kettle and microwaves. Tom actually bought me one of these for my birthday a couple of years back so I can have my morning cuppa in seconds.
What do you think of the Aldi special buy ranges? Would you pick up anything from this one?
