I'm pretty sure Disney play a part in most family weekends, be it playing with Buzz and Woody at the breakfast table, singing along to an episode of Doc McStuffin (Wilf's current favourite Disney show) or snuggling down to a classic film like Peter Pan in the evening. We actually connect the tablet to TV so that we can watch a film all together on the big screen. Having the DisneyLife app means we have access to all the Disney films in one place which is really useful.

Sundays are dedicated family time, we try and spend the morning doing something out of the houe like feeding the ducks and then brunch in a local cafe. Tom looves the ritual of making a Sunday roast when he can and then we are straight into our cosy clothes (or PJ's!) for the rest of the day. It's the time that we like to settle down and watch a family movie together. We never fail to find a Disney classic that gives us that warm fuzzy feeling on cold winters day.
We all have favourites in our family so I thought I would list the Quinn’s top 5 Disney movies to watch on a cold Sunday afternoon!
I love the classics, I think my favourite has to be The Little Mermaid. It was the first film I ever saw at the cinema at 4 years old so it had a massive impression on me. It’s funny that even though it’s over 25 years old it can be enjoyed by 4 year olds today as much as it was back then.
My second would have to be The Lion King, it's the first film that really broke my heart I think! I defy anyone to watch it without sobbing, in fact I think I cry every time. Although Dumbo… don't even get me started, I love it but since becoming a mum feel a bit too emotional to watch it!
Tom would say his favourite is the Jungle Book and it's got to be one of our family favourites too. Even though it was made way before either Tom or I were born I think it's the version that will be loved by generations for a really long time. I can't believe it’s almost 50 years old!
After a good few years of Frozen which would be our fourth favourite film ;) Wilf would now recommend Peter Pan. Although this changes regularly depending on his mood. I have to admit it’s a firm favourite for me too, especially as it has a Tiger Lily in it!
