Generally as a rule of thumb, the outfits I fall head over heels in love with are also the ones that make Tom say 'what have you come as? I don't get it'. It's become a joke because those items are usually the ones that people tend to ask me about so Tom is now prone to saying 'I don't like it but that probably means its good'. I have to admit I'm no wallflower when it comes to choosing clothes although the school run has et me reaching for jeans and a few times (shh don't tell anyone) even jogging bottoms ;) my brain just doesn't know what goes with what that early in the morning!
I'm working with Nectar on this advertorial this post to show you two Christmas looks, one is a day time look and the other a nighttime look. I'll be shopping only at online stores that are associated with Nectar so that I can collect points on the way!

My favourite item from this look is the yellow ruffled jumper that I picked up from ASOS. It's actually originally from Glamorous and I'd never shopped their before but was so pleased with the quality of it. It's oversized and so so comfy and the ruffles just add that extra fun element I think. You can shop on ASOS through the Nectar site so that you can pick up Nectar points on the way. I also shop at ASOS so much that I pick up points through them that I can use against my next shop so it felt like a double win shopping that way! You can actually pick up 6 points per point spent at ASOS.
The pinafore was also from ASOS but originally from Monki who I am obsessed by. I first discovered their store when I was on a little trip in Berlin and was so pleased to find you could purchase from ASOS. Their pieces are always really fun as well as being cut really well I think, this one comes in at £30 which I thought was really reasonable. The tartan makes me think of the festive season and I think it could work with lots of different tops so is quite versatile.
My second look is quite a similar evening look, great for Christmas drinks with friends! I wore the same boots but teamed it with this simple black Boden dress for £55 (I went for the 'tall' option and I'm 5,8). I didn't realise you could shop at Boden via the Nectar site too and as someone who spends a lot of time on the Boden website this is great news for me!
I paired it with this Animal print coat via ASOS (originally from Oasis) which costs £95. I've never worn anything animal print before so this was a bit of a leap for me but I think it makes for a fun winter evening look.
Did you know you could use your Nectar card to buy clothes online? I was genuinely surprised to find where you could use them, some of my favourite stores as mentioned above and also places like Cath Kidston, Laura Ashley, Clarks and lots more (you can see the list here).
The amount of points per retailer is different for each so worth a check as you can pick up 6 points on some (like ASOS for example) which makes a big difference I think. You can also download their app if you prefer to shop that way.
What do you think? Would you shop online via the Nectar site like this?
