DisneyLife: Going Live!

I am a DisneyLife Brand Ambassador and this post was created in partnership with DisneyLife, who have provided me with a free 12-month DisneyLife subscription.

January is such a tricky month isn't it? Getting back into the swing of work and school and all the in betweens after the Christmas break can feel like hard work sometimes for sure. Add to that the amount of bugs that are flying around over the winter months and we've been having quite a lot of cosy sofa weekends this month so far!

We've been really enjoying trialling the DisneyLife app as ambassadors over the past few months and never am I more thankful for it than times like this (well this and traveling, I'm so thankful for this app whenever we travel!). Now the app is offering something new, live TV! With Disney Channel, Junior and XD. Something you can access at home or on the go, which adds a whole new full element to the subscription.

I thought I'd share with you what we've been watching live, in case you have the DisneyLife subscription and are looking for recommendations or if you've been debating about whether to sign up – this might inspire you to check it out! Don't forget that DisneyLife is now £4.99 a month with a 7 day free trial. You can sign up here if you fancy giving it a go.

Some of the shows we've been watching this month are:

Doc McStuffin, (still a firm favourite with Wilf!) it's live at 3.30pm on Disney Juniors, so we watch it as soon as he gets in from school. We hadn't actually come across this show until we got the DisneyLife subscription and it's a really lovely animation although I do find myself humming, 'Oh oh oh, it’s the place to go when you're feeling under the weather' hours later ;)

Tom gets home at 5pm and his favourite is definitely Phineas and Ferb which is on the live stream XD channel. If you've not seen it, then I'd recommend checking it out as it's one of those ones you can all enjoy for different reasons. The humour is brilliant and it’s just really quirky and funny and a nice one for them to watch together.

Mabli is currently only really starting to pay attention to TV but she seems quite taken with the Mickey Mouse clubhouse which is sweet one for pre-schoolers.

A friend recommended Sofia the First, which we've not checked out yet – but looks like it would be something both kids could get into. Sheriff Callie looks like a really lovely character for littler kids too.

As the kids are both still so little (5 and 1), we've mainly been watching Disney Junior live rather than the Disney Channel live, but I'm sure as they get older they'll be more interested in 'big kid shows' as Wilf calls them!

So that's what we've been watching this month on our DisneyLife app. It's quite nice to have the live stream, as it means we know when a certain show might be on and I think the kids like the routine of checking into their favourite at a certain time to see new episodes.

Do you have the app? What are your favourite shows to watch live? Any recommendations for us?
