What Mama Wore - Thought - Hettie Dress

I thought I'd share a little 'what I wore' post to go along side an 'ethical clothing haul' video I just popped up on my YouTube channel today. The video features four items of clothing but I wanted to do a stand along post about the Hettie dress from Thought as I've been living in it lately, it's SO comfy!

For those of you that have bought from the clothing company 'Braintree' before Thought is actually the same company they just went through a little name change lately to reflect better their brand message for 'thoughtful clothing'. I've never actually owned an item from this clothing line but I think I'm going to be a big fan, they remind me (and this dress especially) of designs from Toast and also Ace and Jig, who I also love.

Tom took this pictures of me yesterday on a lazy Saturday mooching around the house. I feel like I always need a 'prop' when I have pictures taken of me, I'm not sure what to do with my hands otherwise! Luckily one of our cute kitties was near for me to pick up and cuddle. This one is called Maddie (yes our baby and our cat practically have the same name ha!) and she's such a ball of fluffy cuteness.

As Mabli is nursing less often I'm starting to be able to branch out into clothes that aren't always breastfeeding friendly but I'm often too scared to wear them out 'just in case'. There's one thing hoisting up your entire dress at home and another in a public place right? ;)

I love how easy the Hettie dress is to throw on though, it has a string tie to draw it in as needed at the back though so creates quite a feminine shape whilst still being really loose and comfy.

If you fancy watching the other ethical fashion items I picked up in the haul then I'm popped the video down below. Thanks for watching and do subscribe if you fancy seeing more of this kind of stuff!
