So that was Christmas!

So that was Christmas!

I tried to take a 'proper' break over the Christmas holidays and I was pretty successful! I did pop onto Instagram here and there but even took a four take break on that at one point. I have to say I often prefer the run-up to Christmas more than the actual event because it's all just so exciting and theres so much going on. That being said this year the day felt just perfect and now Mabli is two and understands the whole concept of it made it the most magical yet.

I thought I'd share a few of my favourite pictures from the day below :

I love this picture Tom took, Wilf got these lego sets in his stocking and Mabli was just happy lying there watching him play.

Our attempt at a family portrait!

The kids were super lucky this year and both got a 'big' present each. Wilf has been asking for a keyboard for ages and we thought we'd invest in one now he's six as it can be something both the kids can use. Also I kind of feel like musical instruments are really important (although my poor parents bought me lots as a child and I haven't got a musical bone in my body!).

Mabli got a balance bike because Wilf got a real bike for his birthday. It was actually only ten pounds in the end as there was a big sale on so it felt OK even though she got a scooter for her birthday.

And that was Christmas! I've have a funny few days recently of bad health lately (which I've spoken about a little bit on my Instagram. I don't want to go into it to much here as I wanted this to be just about our Christmas and not taint it with that but I will do a post soon on whats going on.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

I can’t believe how quickly Mabli has grown, I swear she was only tiny a few weeks ago! It looks like you had a fab Christmas and I hope your ears aren’t aching from Wilf and his keyboard x
