A Little about me

I have noticed a have had a few more followers and alot more blog hits of late so I thought I would introduce myself again :) Hi!

My name is Fritha Moonbeatle Tigerlilly Quinn Strickland
I am 25
My family is my boyfriend Tom and my two cats Maddie and Rockie
As well as that I have two brothers and two sisters (and a mum and dad of course)
I am a life long vegetarian
I am an illustrator
I am impatient (but am working on it)
I smile too much around new people (can one smile too much? I feel like I do!..it sometimes hurts my cheeks)
I dont like beetroot
I do like pasta (I eat it at least twice a week..more if I was aloud)
When I was younger I used to be a competitive swimmer
I havnt been swimming in more than a year..
I really want to be a mama some day (soon)
Tom and I have picked out both our perfect boy and girl names (ages ago and agreed almost straight away- go team!)
I harbour a not so secret desire to be a house-girlfriend
But think that I may have a slightly romanticised idea of what this entails (I picture basically my life now but without the office part and baking cupcakes, I know this is not a reality)
I have an 'eclectic' taste in music which varies from Electro such as The Knife, bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins, guilty pleasures such as MCR and (not sure how you would define) musicians such as Regina Spector and SIA and pure pop indulgences such as Girls Aloud, ha!
Until very recently I would have described myself as completely and utterly, painfully shy
But now I realise it just depends on the people you meet (there is no point trying to make people like you)
I am constantly amazed/overwhelmed at the kindness of strangers

It's so interesting to hear how people choose to describe themselves. I used to be painfully shy too but I realised that it was holding me back. Now I pretend not to be shy and it works quite well! You're a very interesting and talented person.

This was a really lovely post.
I first found your blog around New year, you summed-up the previous year and spoke openly about your loss, and your inspirational life. I feel reading it kicked my butt into gear with my own career in design. I myself am freshly graduated(2010) designer, and since september I have been working on my own range of greetings cards, which are now onsale throughout Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.
My website is: http://harrietalicefox.com/index.htm
And Blog: http://harrymissbarry.blogspot.com/

I want to thank you for making some really heart felt posts, Ill keep on reading as long as you upload them.

@emily, It does work well, you come across as confident (but not in a too confident way if that makes sense!) as well as just being lovely and funny! :) x

Hello, I thought this post was really open and witty, I find myself reading some things that apply to me too!
I think I found your blog through weheartit, I can't actually remember, but I really love the way you mix your personal blogging with lovely pictures. I'm an illustrator too, soon to be released into the world of work from my last year at uni! (my blog is hannah-f-b.blogspot.com)
I just read back a few days to your blog about your operation, which is what made me want to comment. I had an operation last summer to have my appendix removed, which I know isn't much like what you'll be going through, but going under anaesthetic is surprisingly not so bad. I was terrified when I found out I had appendicitis because I only had 12 hours to come to terms with the fact that I was about to have an op, but trust me, it's not as scary as it feels! It won't be nice but I think it will be ok for you and I hope your recovery is quick and not too painful.
