We Like To Read

The Trek by Anna Jonas

A well worn well read book from my childhood. I love the dusty sandy colours. I remember reading this book and thinking this is what my mother's childhood must have like in South Africa, walking through the felt, spotted exotic animals on her way to school.

How many animals can you spot at the greengrocer's stall?

Do join in if you have a book you would like to share. One you are reading to your kids, one you loved from your own childhood or even one you have picked up for the beautiful illustrations like Laura did last week.

I was so chuffed to see so many of you join in the first week I opened this little linky. It was such a treat to have a little peek into the stories that have touched your heart, the illustrations you admire and the memories you are creating!

I'm so loving these gorgeous posts - thank you! You inspired me to write my own post about Hairy Maclary From Donaldson's Dairy - I've added my link.
