I don't know if it's the fact that I used to move a lot as as a child (hence often re-designing my bedroom) but I get very itchy fit for interior re-design. I spent such a long time painting a tree on Wilf's wall and adding personal elements to the leaves (such as extracts of the letters I wrote to him in pregnancy) that I sort of can't bare to re-do his room just yet. If you fancy seeing what his room look like you can see it in this little post.
I do however love a little indulge into Pinterest and the many many beautiful spaces pinned on there. Here are some of my current favourite children's rooms. Don't forget to follow along if you are a Pinterest addict like me ;)
I'd also like to use this time to thank everyone (thank you thank you!) who nominated me for the Homes and Interiors category in the Mad Blog Awards. I'm so thrilled to be in the final and would love love it if you could spare a second to vote for me!

What lovely rooms...it makes me feel like I really need to sot out the rooms of my 3. I think the top one is my favourite as it just looks so much fun...and I love that tent! Great post, very inspiring!
What a beautiful selection of bedrooms. If only they always stayed so tidy lol the twins love pulling toys all over! :-) x
Some gorgeous rooms there. The last one is my favourite, very girly and cosy. I will be looking for inspiration soon when we move and give the children new bedrooms!
I love the first picture! I decluttered Lola's room yesterday, tackling the girls room today - we have SO much stuff they never stay as nice as these!
The bottom one with the ombre ruffles is my favourite. This post makes me feel so sad as a parent though. We have moved so much and are moving again in a couple of months. With the costs of moving and such I have not really ever been able to fully give my kids a fun living space especially when it comes to their bedroom. I take that back...during a year in Brighton (as part of a christmas present) I gave Ronan a whole Indiana Jones themed room. But as it is currently they have not much fun going on. I loved this post because it has such inspiration and things I would love to do for the boys eventually. x
I think the top one is my favourite, love the heart patterned tent. Some really good looking kids rooms here, mine are just covered in toys!!
The top one is my favourite - but they are all lovely in their own unique way!
I love the third image. Showing a good way of adding bright colour for the little one. I love the soft sculpture hanging too.
love the first one! the colours ..and that rug, oh my.
I love the first one the most. I have just looked at your tree, it's amazing! I put a tree on Baby's wall with birds and a bird cage, but it is a decal x
I love the second picture! Great way to paint the wall, and I'm in love with these cushions :)
I'm so addicted to pinterest - the need for a huge American home is strong within me! My thoughts turn to a teenager's bedroom now - rather than a cutesy little boy's bedroom *sobs* x
Its a toss-up between 1, 2, and 3. I love the colors in 1, but it has a lot of "stuff" in it. #2 has the same color scheme, but simpler. #3 is probably more of what would work in our place, but with a bit more color on the walls please. Actually, my little babe has a brand new room, created from scratch, so no redecorating for a long time!

Oh they are lovely. I keep remnding my kids that if we got rid of lots of things then they could have lovely rooms like this! ;-) Well done on making the Mads finals! xxx
Loving the top 1 especially! That salmon pink is very nice - and I love all the glorious colour!
Ahhhh I love them all but if I HAD to choose I think it would be the bottom one. Like you, I have moved a lot, both as a child and as an adult (I counted 13 times in the last 10 years that I have been with the husband alone!). I am convinced this is why I haven't put our own stamp on the main bedroom just yet, although we have done Harry's.
There all gorgeous but the first one is my favourite definitely x x
I love the tents, my boys would have adored one when they were smaller

I absolutely love the simple triangle/tent dens! They look so cute, I bet E would love one. Hmmm, perhaps I could manage that... x
