We have such a great community where we live, neighbours that you can literally call on for some sugar (or the modern day scenario use their wifi when your's stopped working 5 mins before a live hangout). Most of us seem to have kiddos roughly the same age too so during the summer it's been lovely to share a cup of tea chatting over a garden gate whilst the littles play in the street.
On Sunday we headed out to stretch our legs at our local city farm and seeing one of our neighbours needed to get some errands done picked up a little addition to the party.

Don't they look like they could be related?? They have the same baby faced cuteness!
Wilf's little buddy Stella took his hand and they walked around the farm like that for most of our trip.
Wilf may not have been as keen about being fed his raisins..
I had a teeeeeeny tiny glimpse of what having two kiddos might be like (I see all you parents of more than one eye rolling right now). Of course I saw a really really good part, the part where they enjoy each other's company and play together whilst you get take away coffee and watch them from a bench and talk about what DIY projects you might tackle the next day or what we might have for dinner.
I have to say it was very nice playing a family of four ;)
In case you were wondering:

After the farm we took a detour at Biblos for halloumi wraps and coffee whilst the kiddos hit the play park and raced each other to the slide over and over. It's funny, Wilf used to be a little scared of the slide after flying off the end of one a while back but since playing with Stella he's been fine!
He did make sure she knew that I was his mummy a few times 'Stella my mummy is holding your hand too but she's my mummy OK?

It is lovely when they play together, but in my experience there's way less coffee and talking and way more fighting and throwing things on the floor, ha! I guess it's down to loads of things - age gap, personalities, phase of the moon.... Love your outfit, that tshirt is ace!
So so cute and lovely to see you with another bubba, do I hear the sounds of excited ovaries lol ? Did I mention that I LOVE that tee and it's in my shopping basket. Also going to defo bring Felix your way for a play date the gardens look like a perfect place to play. x

Oh no pressure, but this just looks sooo right! I remember how Greig and I had been thinking about whether to go for three and then one weekend some friends came to stay with their kid. We were walking down the street and we looked behind to see Charlie and Flo walking hand in hand with the third child and we just thought, yes!
P.S. I know you're not actually planning another baby right now so I'll stop....
Ha ha I love that, "but she is MY mummy"...so funny and sweet. Looks like a fun trip out and what a lovely community to live in... x
