Never Run Out with HP Plus win a Printer & Years supply of ink!

I've been blogging in this little corner of the internet for six years now. Sometimes that seems like a ridiculously long period of my life and sometimes feels like I can't believe I ever did anything else! Along the way I've been fortunate enough to be able to collaborate on some fantastic projects so when an email popped up in my inbox to ask if I would like to collaborate on a children's book I mentally filed it under that category - 'fantastic opportunity'

Along with a group of other bloggers and creatives I was asked by HP to contribute a chapter to the children's book using inspiration from my day to day. I chose to use photography and the items around my own home and Wilf's bedroom to put together my idea for the chapter.

My idea was that the main character from the story came up with his imaginary animals from his own toys and his mums ornaments. I loved the idea of all the colour and inspiration in his home that allowed him to create these magical creatures and world.

After I'd written down my ideas I sent them and my photos along to the talented illustrator Tom Percival who is illustrating the whole book. I was totally blow away with what he came up with, I think you'll agree its a beautiful page!

The theme to the story is never letting your imagination run out which ties in with the HP service 'instant ink'. The service works by automatically ordering you new ink online when it senses your printer is about to run out of HP ink cartridges, it also can make buying printer cartridges a lot cheaper too by opting for different plans according to your needs. To find out more about the Instant Ink service then click here. You can also see how the book is coming along here.

Each week another page will be added and you can keep up with the story by following the hashtag #neverrunout last weeks spread was by the lovely Michalak family, if you've not come across their blog and videos before you're in for a treat!

I'm so looking forward to seeing the finished book and getting my hands on a copy. I really love that our spread features some of Wilf's favourite toys, it's made it such a special piece of art for us to treasure forever.

And that's not all! HP are also giving one lucky reader a HP Envy 5644 All-in-One Inkjet Printer plus a years supply of ink. You can view details of the printer here the ink subscription here. All you need to do is enter the rafflecopter below and good luck!
