Our Venice Airbnb

Venice Airbnb

Ok this is the last post on Venice, promise! I just wanted to pop on and share our Venice Airbnb place we stayed at. As you guys know I’m a big fan of Airbnb, you can see the place we stayed with them in Amsterdam here and Copenhagen here.

You can further details of this Airbnb here.

We really loved the aesthetics to this place as we found a lot of Italian interiors are quite minimal with stone floors and dark wooden surfaces. We are move drawn to colourful and retro looking design so this one seemed just a little bit more quirky. It also came up as £126 a night which for a tourist city like Venice we thought was really reasonable.

Although there were only two bedrooms (one a double) it also came with two sofa beds and a cot so you could easily have about five people (and a baby) stay. We always prefer staying at self catering places like Airbnb’s as it makes it SO much easier with small kids. Don’t get me wrong I love a fancy hotel and room service but with small kids all in the same room you can often find yourself tied down to early bedtimes or having to go out for a meal with overtired children. Its so much more relaxing to eat out in the day time and then eat at home in the evening or hang out in a living room when the kids are tucked up in bed!
