We had a very chilled out Sunday which involved a short stroll to one of our favourite local breakfast spots. I love our neighbourhood, it might not be the prettiest and in fact we had to skip one of the small parks we were walking to because (as we explained to Wilf) a man was feeling poorly in it (read necking 20/20 at 10am in the morning) but actually I think you can find beauty in most places. I’m always on the look out for exposed brick, brightly coloured doors and a good ‘ol bicycle shot. Thankfully our neighbourhood has that in the bucket load…
We were sent the Cosatto Moonwood Giggle to review as part of our ambassador program with them to test out. As you may know we already have the Ooba and love it so I was interested in seeing what the Giggle would be like.
As always I’m a big fan of Cosatto’s designs and they surely win the prize for the brightest and funkiest pushchairs on the market. Did I just say ‘funkiest’? I think it’s safe to say I’m a mum if I’m using words like that right? 😉 Aaanyway..the Cosatto Giggle arrived last week and we’ve tried it out on a few occasions now.
My first impressions are it’s a very light pushchair and super easy to fold down, something we don’t have to do a huge amount as we don’t drive but good to know in times when we have to on occasion (busy bus etc). I really panicked with folding down the first pushchair I owned and would usually just wait for another bus or train rather than try and work it out so it’s certainly a big selling point to find one that is so easy to pack away.
Another feature which is really important to me is that pushchairs are able to be parent-facing. I love that Cosatto really keeps this in mind and the Giggle do this with ease which is brilliant.
The Giggle is one of the most light weight pushchairs I’ve tested which is brilliant but I occasionally found the going up and down curbs a little tricky and one you have to make sure you are facing properly before you push over them (if that makes any sense!).
Cosatto do really make brilliant pushchairs, the Giggle is a travel system too so comes with pram attachment that can be used from birth. The Cosatto Giggle is available in a bunch of different patterns although the Moonwood we are testing here is exclusive to John Lewis. The Giggle has also won the best travel system for under £500.
The Cosatto Giggle is available with a Car Seat and choice of Isofix Base or Hold Base (Car Seat and Base sold separately). The Giggle includes co-ordinating Changing Bag, Cosy Toes and Raincover.
The fox outfit Wilf is wearing is from Wild Things Dresses*. You may remember I bought him the shark outfit a few weeks back and they saw my pictures and were kind enough to send him this fox as a gift! It was even more lovely that I mentioned Wilf’s middle name (Cadno meaning fox in Welsh) and the package was addressed to Master Cadno 🙂
My dress is from Eucalyptus (a gift from Tom) and my Jellies are from JuJu.
Hope you had the loveliest of weekends too..oh and did I mention, we got engaged on Friday! I’ll be sure to share details with you soon! 😉 xx
