Ladram Bay Holiday Park in Devon offers a range of accommodations to suit all ages and budgets. We stayed on a three-night trip and it was the perfect easy break from Bristol. When looking up caravan holidays in Devon we saw Ladram Bay being recommended over and over so we knew we had to try it for ourselves.

Ladram Bay Devon

Ladram Bay Devon – Perfect for families
The park is located on the beautiful Devon coast and is perfect for families, couples, and friends. The park has its own private beach, which is great for swimming and surfing. Plenty of activities are available on-site such as kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding to keep everyone entertained. Ladram Bay beach felt like something out of a Famous Five story (which we happen to reading at the moment) and my eight-year-old kept wondering if she might come across some kind of adventure whilst we were there.
Holiday Parks in Devon
The holiday park has a wide range of accommodation options including self-catering lodges, mobile homes, chalets, and a campsite with over 600 pitches available.
We stayed in one of Ladram Bay’s luxury lodges (make sure to scroll to the end of this post for a discount code!) which was perfect for our midweek stay. Our lodge also came equipped with a hot tub that we made great use of even on the days it rained.

The lodges at Ladram Bay Holiday Park are spacious and well-equipped for your stay. Each one has its own private hot tub, with views over the sea or countryside. We had a three-bedroom lodge which included two twin bedrooms and one room with a double bed. This devon holiday park really felt like a little bit of luxury and after a full day at the beach it was so nice to have a glass of bubbly in the hot tub!
The lodges have a fully-kitted kitchen with a fridge, freezer and microwave. All rooms are spacious, bright and decorated in a modern style. They feature wooden floors, satellite TV, and decking.

There are plenty of activities on offer at Ladram Bay Holiday Park including watersports such as windsurfing and sailing, plus there’s an indoor swimming pool that’s heated all year round so you can enjoy a swim whatever the weather! There’s also an outdoor splash pad type pool where you which is perfect in the the summer months. We used the swimming pool a few times, its worth noting you do need to book a slot but it was very quiet when we were there and we also could have turned up.
Ladram Bay is a beautiful beach that is a minute’s walk away from the lodges. It is also the home of many fossils. You may find yourself picking up rocks or shells while you are there, but you should be careful to not get too close to the cliffs due to rock slides.
Caravan holidays in Devon

We spent most of our week at the caravan park itself as we felt like it had enough there to keep us busy! However, on one sunny day, we took the coastal walk from Ladram Bay to Sidmouth which was lovely. My children are now eleven and eight so were able to walk the distance fairly easily. They were also rewarded with an ice cream at Sidmouth which helped!
On a particularly rainy day, we spent the whole day in the indoor play area. The arcade and soft play were a big hit. We came home with about six different keyrings 😉 Caravan holidays in Devon are pretty temperamental when it comes to weather but we felt there was more than enough to do.
If you’re looking for a devon holiday park, Ladram Bay Holiday Park is the ideal place to unwind. I would highly recommend a stay. If you are looking to book then use TIGERLILLY10 for 10% off including luxury lodges.
Our stay at Ladram Bay Holiday Park was a press trip but I was under no obligation to post, all words and thoughts are my own. I would however highly recommend this caravan holiday Devon as a easy family holiday break with a touch of luxery.
