Garden Makeover from Boring Grey into a Moroccan style Paradise

Garden Makeover. Let me tell you how I transformed my dull and dreary grey garden in Wales into a vibrant Moroccan-style paradise. Whilst our blue garden wall divided the internet I felt like it was a journey of creativity with colour so if you are looking for garden wall ideas then read on!

Garden Makeover – Blue Wall

Garden Makeover – The inspiration behind it

Having moved in just over six months ago my garden was a blank canvas begging for life. So, armed with a paintbrush and the eunuchism only someone with ADHD can have. I decided to take the garden makeover into my own hands. Inspired by the stunning hues of Santorini blue, I carefully painted my garden walls, instantly transforming the space with a splash of Mediterranean charm. The color has completely transformed and breathed life into my once lackluster garden.

Garden Makeover – Creating a Cozy Corner

Next on the agenda was creating a cozy outdoor retreat where I could unwind and enjoy the beauty of my Moroccan-inspired haven. Enter the outdoor corner sofa! With its plush cushions and inviting design, it became the ultimate relaxation spot for sipping tea or indulging in a good book. Nestled amidst vibrant cushions and adorned with plants, it truly feels like we are on holiday whenever we sit out there.

It’s also a great place to have a small garden party with family or friends. Everyone can sit together, relax, and enjoy the fresh air.

Pizza Perfection

But no Moroccan paradise is complete without good food. So next comes installing a pizza oven station in the garden. This, my friends, was a game-changer. We get so much use out of this thing and regularly have pizza night during the summer. It’s perfect for having people over as a fun and easy dinner party idea too. We bought this one and really rate it.

Garden makeover in the UK – before and after

One of the biggest criticisms on social media about our cheap garden makeover is painting the top of the walls terracotta. However, if there is one thing I’ve learned about interior design is to stay true to yourself and your style. Along the top of the wall, I added lush green plants and fragrant herbs, giving life to my little oasis in Wales.

In conclusion – Garden Makeover ideas

My garden makeover has evolved into a magical space that evokes joy, laughter, and a sense of adventure. It was no longer just a forgotten plot of land but a sanctuary where we spent so much of our time as a family.

The journey of transforming my boring grey garden into a Moroccan paradise was one filled with love, creativity, and a touch of madness. With every stroke of the paintbrush, every piece of furniture carefully chosen, and every pizza baked to perfection, my garden emerged as a sanctuary of vibrancy and joy. It’s a reminder that with a little imagination and a splash of color, we can transform even the most uninspiring spaces into extraordinary havens. Embrace the magic of transformation, and let your garden tell a story that is uniquely yours.
