A Treehouse to stay at in London

We just got back from a fabulous family stay at the Treehouse Hotel in Marylebone London. If you’re looking for a memorable trip to the ‘big smoke’ and a unique hotel experience then the Treehouse is a fantastic choice. Not only does it offer a prime location near the vibrant Oxford Street, but it also features the Nest rooftop bar and the delicious Mozza pizza, along with the special ‘Family Tree’ deal designed just for families.

Treehouse Hotel London Marylebone

First things first, let’s talk about aesthetics at the Treehouse Hotel London. We were all surprised to see the giant robin perched on top of the entranceway as we arrived. As soon as we stepped into the lobby, you couldn’t help but feel a sense that this was a hotel with a difference. The hotel is inspired by treehouses and nature. Each room is designed to immerse you both in the London skyline and a nature-inspired atmosphere.

We were greeted on arrival by friendly staff and the offer of a pick-and-mix bag of sweets from the jars in front of reception. The children also got an activity pack each with stickers and drawing materials. Later that evening when we returned from a day out in London a knock on the door to our room presented us with freshly baked cookies and a glass of milk (oat milk for us).

Family Friendly hotel in London

The rooms themselves are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated with playful touches. We loved the fun cushions and magic eight balls! Complete with cozy bedding and special treehouse-themed elements such as an actual tree in the bathroom. As for the adults, you’ll have your comfortable bed, and luxurious showers ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring London.

Let’s talk about the features that make Treehouse Hotel truly special. One of the highlights is the Nest rooftop bar. The breathtaking panoramic views of the city are great for people-watching. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of the London skyline. We also ate breakfast here each morning and I highly recommend the huevos rancheros.

Pizzeria Mozza

When it comes to dining, Pizzeria Mozza was an absolute treat for the whole family. Located just next door to the hotel, it’s a chilled atmosphere with beautiful decor. The freshly baked pizza was fantastic but the hero of the evening for me was the starters. Tom and I shared a cauliflower fritti with spicy mint aioli and it came out as a whole romesco cauliflower to carve! We also had the white bean alla toscana with radicchio & saba which I’d love to recreate at home.

Treehouse Hotel Location

Treehouse Hotel London is just a stone’s throw away from Oxford Street, one of the most iconic shopping destinations in the world. Being so close to the hotel, you’ll have the convenience of exploring at your own pace, without worrying about long commutes or tired little legs.

There’s plenty more to do and see around the area for families too. Take a stroll through nearby Hyde Park perhaps, a firm favourite for us. If you’re in the mood for some cultural exploration, the world-renowned British Museum and the fascinating Natural History Museum are just a short distance away.

The staff at the Treehouse Hotel are so friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was very accommodating to my slightly fussy eight-year-old. If you have a smaller child they are also able to offer cots on request. I know how important it is to find hotels that understand traveling with small children and this family-friendly hotel does just that.

Whether you’re visiting London for a family holiday, a special occasion, or just a weekend getaway, Treehouse Hotel London near Oxford Street is an excellent choice for your stay. With its whimsical and playful atmosphere, the beautiful Nest rooftop bar and Madera restaurant, the mouthwatering Mozza pizza, and the ‘Family Tree’ package, it promises an unforgettable experience for the entire family. So, pack your bags, bring your sense of adventure, and get ready to create beautiful memories together in the heart of London.
