Tigerlilly Quinn: everyday is a celebration

everyday is a celebration

I'm a great believer that everyday should be a celebration. I feel like lately there are so many reminders about how short life is and how the things we take for granted can be gone the next day. Clearly some of these things are out of our hands but I do think having a positive attitude has helped me turn around my day when I'm getting in a bit of a funk.

My little boy always helps to remind me to put the silly back in our day and so on a Monday morning we set out with our friends Lori and F to walk around our beautiful city with some colourful balloons.

We actually decided to hang out with a bunch of helium balloons on one of the windiest days of the year which made for some hilarity!

We made a little video of our day if you fancy a peek. I have to add that F accidentally let the balloons go we didn't intentionally set them off in the sky (promise!) and two escaped when we were blowing them up. Lesson leant to maybe try a balloon walk on a less blustery day ;)

We were sent the balloons as part of a campaign with BritMums Balloon time

What a sweet idea! I'm pretty sure though that I would be totally sick of a bunch of balloons by the end of an afternoon... ;-)

We have only recently started to use apps and I agree if done in moderation they can be a great learning tool. Will have to check this one out as always looking for fun and creative ones for the little man
