On a rare day when it wasn’t storming or pouring with rain Tom, his mum, Wilf and I visited West Bay Dorset. It was so sunny, and the sky was bluer than blue, it probably looks like I’ve added filters to these shots of the sky but it was just nature being cool. This in-between time from Christmas and New Year is always a funny one.
We took a little walk to the beach and harbour at On a rare day when it wasn’t storming or pouring with rain Tom, his mum, Wilf and I visited West Bay Dorset. Afterward, we went for hot chocolate and cake at a beach cafe. It kind of reminded me of my teenage years hanging out on the beach in Aberystwyth and New Quay with my friends Anyone who grew up on the coast, a sunny winter day, and a beach cafe will do that to you.
I ripped this coat as I was helping Wilf with something or other, which is a shame. Although I did get it from a charity shop about four years ago so it’s been doing pretty well. It’s given me an excuse to look at coats in the winter sales though, unfortunately, I fell in love with one totally out of my budget after seeing it on a Mormon Mum blog but a girl can always dream. Does anyone know where I can find a vintage-style coat in duck egg blue under £100? I will probably love you forever if so!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and feel ok during these funny first weeks on the year. There’s always so much pressure on how to feel around this time of year I think. I want to lean into the hibernating version of how to be in January.
